01 / The idea
Musical knowledge shared in Finland.
Bossa nova is often reduced to a mood, while its harmonic language, melodic movement and cultural context remain overlooked.
Bossa Lab responds with reliable musical materials that are easier to find and use, alongside opportunities to meet, play, exchange knowledge and develop new collaborations. As a community, we will also build jam sessions, clubs and a diverse range of events where people can gather, listen, learn and make music together.
The project begins in Finland and welcomes musicians, artists, producers, educators, organizers and listeners who want to enjoy this music while understanding it more deeply.

Playing music and having fun with bossa nova is our goal here. As a community, we will exchange ideas and materials, and members will actively participate in building repertoire, creating arrangements and growing this collection collectively.
